Mission Statement: Why BPL Exists

The mission of the Boulder Public Library is to enhance the personal and professional growth of Boulder residents and contribute to the development and sustainability of an engaged community through free access to ideas, information, cultural experiences and educational opportunities.

Notary Service

The Boulder Public Library provides free notary service in the Administration Office at the Main Branch Library, Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Calling ahead to confirm at 303-441-3106 is recommended to assure availability of the Notary. All persons signing the document(s) are required to present a government or school issued photo with signature ID. Patron must bring in any witness(es) required. Each witness must also bring a photo ID. If a document copy is being notarized, the original, as well as the copy, must be presented. Only simple documents will be notarized.
