Mission Statement: Why BPL Exists
The mission of the Boulder Public Library is to enhance the personal and professional growth of Boulder residents and contribute to the development and sustainability of an engaged community through free access to ideas, information, cultural experiences and educational opportunities.

The Bridge
The Bridge between the South and North wings of the library is a vibrant place where people gather to eat, drink, read, work on personal laptops, and otherwise enjoy the beautiful views up and down Boulder Creek.
The Bridge includes tables, a gift shop, a selection of used books for purchase, and the Espress-OH! coffee shop offering soups and sandwiches, baked goods, coffee and espresso drinks, smoothies and more.
